A scientific seminar dedicated to the 140th anniversary of the great statesman and public figure, politician and publicist Muhammad Amin Rasulzade, one of the founders of the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic (1918-1920) and the leader of the political emigration of Azerbaijan, was held at the Institute of Geography named after Academician H. Aliyev of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan under the chairmanship of the Director General, Professor Zakir Eminov.

Head of the Department, Associate Professor Anvar Aliyev made a report on the relevant topic. The speaker, who is studying the life and work of M.A. Rasulzade, said that he is also one of the most prominent representatives of political journalism in the history of the Azerbaijani press. In 1903-1920, more than 1,200 of his articles in various genres were published only in the periodical press of Azerbaijan.
