A new book of the Institute of Geography named after Academician H. Aliyev - the second part of the second volume of the book "Gardens of Travel" by the famous traveler of the 19th century Haji Zeynalabdin Shirvani has been published.

The author of the idea and scientific editor of the book is the general director of the institute, Professor Zakir Eminov, translator Aladdin Malikov, Editor Shahin Yakhyayev.

In the second book, related to the second part of the work "Gardens of Travel", written by the famous Azerbaijani traveler and geographer H.Z. Shirvani based on his travel notes during his many years of travel, information about Turkey, the Mediterranean coast, Arabia, Oman and Yemen was collected and presented. The book provides rich information about the history, geography, population, customs, historical and cultural monuments, historical figures of these places and conversations with them.

The book provides information relating to the beginning of the 19th century, observed by the author himself, which may be of interest to geographers, historians and the general reader interested in the events and processes that took place during this period.
