A discussion was held on Rena Akhmedova’s dissertation work in specialty 2508.01 “Temporal and spatial distribution of oil spills in the Caspian Sea in Azerbaijan” for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in geoecology at a joint meeting of the departments of geomorphology of the coast and bottom of the Caspian Sea, hydrometeorology of the Caspian Sea and monitoring of the Caspian Sea of the Institute of Geography named after acad. H. Aliyev.
