Employees of the Institute of Geography named after acad. H. Aliyev MNO AR - executive director, associate professor Zaur Imrani, head of department PhD Solmaz Rzayeva, senior researcher, PhD Samira Abushova and junior researcher Nazim Garayli took part in the 4th student republican scientific and practical conference dedicated to the “Year of Solidarity for a Green World” at the Republican Gymnasium named after S.K. Peshawari on the topic “Students’ views on science and education in Azerbaijan.”

The Republican Humanitarian Gymnasium named after. S.J. Peshawari, Institute of Oriental Studies after Z.M. Bunyadov  of ANAS, Institute of Geography named after acad. Hasan Aliyev, Monitoring Center under the State Language Commission of the AR, Shamakhi branch of the ADPU, Guba Genocide Memorial Complex, Institute of Education of the AR and Sheki Regional Scientific Center of ANAS took part in the organization of the conference.

Imrani spoke about the important work done in the field of ecological environment and nature conservation in the scientific institution he represents, emphasized the importance of attracting students to scientific research through the current conference and considered it appropriate to hold this conference on an international scale in the future.

The conference continued its work in various sections. Institute staff, who participated as experts in the geography section, checked and assessed the knowledge and skills of students.
