On December 21, employees of the Institute of Geography named after academician H. Aliyev of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan - General Director Professor Zakir Eminov, head of the department, corresponding member of ANAS Rauf Gardashov and researcher Kamran Ramazanly took part in an extended meeting of the Presidium of ANAS on the topic “Eternal appeal to Eternity" dedicated to the results of the "Year of Heydar Aliyev".

The event was attended by the President of ANAS, academician Isa Habibbeyli, deputies of the Milli Majlis of the AR, full and corresponding members of ANAS, directors of scientific institutions and organizations, representatives of the territorial party organization YAP, and young scientists.

President of ANAS, academician Isa Habibbeyli, made an opening speech about the historical services of the Great Leader Heydar Aliyev to the state and people of Azerbaijan. Then the Deputy Ministry of Education, heads of scientific institutions, and leading scientists spoke.

After the speeches, the authors whose books were published within the framework of the “Year of Heydar Aliyev” were awarded the Certificate of Honor of ANAS. Kamran Ramazanly, a researcher at the Department of Hydrometeorology of the Caspian Sea at the Institute of Geography, was among those awarded for publishing the book “Energy Strategy of Heydar Aliyev and Georgia.”
