Entrance exams for doctoral studies for 2023 were held at the Institute of Geography named after academician H. Aliyev of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The exam was attended by 4 applicants for the specialty “Economic Geography”, 1 applicant for the specialty “Historical Geography, Political and Recreational Geography” and 1 applicant for the specialty “Physical Geography and Biogeography, Soil Geography, Geophysics and Geochemistry of Landscapes”.

The examination committee assessed the answers of all 6 applicants as satisfactory. The scientific council of the institute recommended assigning dissertation topics and scientific supervisors to them.
