At a meeting of the Dissertation Council of the Institute of Geography named after academician H.A.Aliyev, Sevil Yunis gyzy Guliyeva defended her dissertation in the specialty 5408.01 - Physical geography and biogeography, soil geography, geophysics and geochemistry on the topic "Modern natural and landscape geocomplexes of Azerbaijan and their landscape and ecological assessment". It was decided to apply to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan at the Higher Attestation Commission with a request to award Sevil Guliyeva the degree of D.Sc. in geography.
