Nijat Imamverdiyev, researcher at the Azerbaijan Economic and Political Department of the Institute of Geography named after Academician H.A.Aliyev, took part in the summer school organized by the Turkish Academy of Sciences (TUBA) in Istanbul.
Turkey, Azerbaijan, Pakistan, Algeria, Moldova, Albania and others took part in the summer school held within the framework of the project "Fundamental Sciences and Requirements of Academic Life". 25 participants from 15 republics participated. Although presentations and discussions on this topic took place in Istanbul, practical exercises were held in Kocaeli, at the TÜBİTAK Marmara Research Center. It offers unique solutions to government, defense, private and academic institutions with a customer-centric approach. The center carries out basic and applied research and development, technology transfer, innovation, the creation of systems and tools, the definition of national standards and norms, professional advice and training.
The summer school was taught by the president of TÜBA, prof. Dr. Muzaffer Sheker and other staff of the academy, teachers of Istanbul, St. Louis, Washington and Stanford universities.
At the end, the participants were awarded certificates.
