Rauf Rizvan oglu Amanov defended his dissertation at the meeting of the Dissertation Council of the Institute of Geography named after academician H. Aliyev of ANAS, on the topic “Study of the population of the Guba-Khachmaz economic region in the GIS environment” for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in the field of Geography, specialty 5401.01 “Economic Geography”.
It was decided by secret ballot applying to the Higher Attestation Commission under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan to award the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in Geography.
