December 23-24 at the Institute of Geography named after academician Н.A. Aliyev of ANAS passed exams in the specialty for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy. The exam was attended by 4 people in "Human geography", 3 people in "Economic geography", 1 person in "Physical geography and biogeography, soil geography, geophysics and geochemistry of landscapes" and 1 person in oceanology.

The examination commissions include experienced doctors of sciences and doctors of philosophy of Baku State University and the Institute of Geography.
