On November 30, 2021 in Moscow, a solemn online ceremony of presenting the international prize Ecoworld ("Ecomir") was held at the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences.

Vice-President of the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan, Academician Ibrahim Guliyev - Chairman of the Azerbaijan Scientific Center of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences, member of the Board of Trustees of Ecoworld and chairman of the jury for announcing the results of the competition in the nomination "Environmental Policy and Environment", took part in the awarding of the laureates of the competition.

Academician Ibrahim Guliyev stressed that the latest events on our planet once again showed that ecology and natural processes know no boundaries. The task of scientists and researchers of all countries is to unite efforts to preserve all life on Earth, to prevent the development of civilization according to the most dangerous scenarios, and scientists from Azerbaijan and Russia can make a significant contribution to solving these problems.

This year the award brought together 200 projects from 35 regions of Russia and 20 countries of the world.
