The Presidium of ANAS and the Women's Council of the Academy held an online event on the occasion of March 8 - International Women's Day.

Certificates of  honor of ANAS for scientific and social activities were awarded to Luiza Salayeva, the chairman of the women's council of the Institute of Geography named after acad. H.A. Aliyev and member of the council, head of the department of paleogeography, doctor of geography Elena Taghiyeva.
