The proposals on the use of alternative sources, including groundwater, treated wastewater, water used in fisheries and water of the Caspian Sea, will be submitted to the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

This is reflected in the “Action plan for 2020-2022 to ensure the efficient use of water resources” approved by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated July 27, 2020.

The work will be carried out in August-October 2020 by ANAS, the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, Azmelsutasarufat, AZERSU and local executive bodies.
