Scientific employee of the department of Paleogeography of the Institute of Geography named after acad. H.Aliyev of ANAS, Elshan Abdullayev, received a grant from the German Academic Excange Service (DAAD) to conduct research work at the University of Greifswald in Germany jn the theme: “ Clay minerals of the Miocene sediments of Eastern Paratethys and their application in studying paleoclimate and sea level changes.”

The diploma was presented to Elshan Abdullayev by the German ambassador to Azerbaijan, Mr. Michael Kindsgrab and the head of the DAAD Baku office, Ms Stephanie Dufo.
