Head of the department “Monitoring of the Caspian Sea” of the Institute of Geography named after acad. H.Aliyev of ANAS, corresponding member of ANAS, doctor of physical and mathematical sciences Rauf Gardashov took part in the IX All-Russian Conference with international participation under the title “Modern problems of the optics of natural waters”, held on September 20-22, 2017 in St. Petersburg.  

The scientist, who was a member of the program committee of the Conference, spoke at the plenary session with the theme: “Determination of the instantaneous form of the sea surface in accordance with the characteristics of the solar flare”.
