In the scientific seminar conducted on May 8, at the Institute of Geography was listened Nurida Alem gyzy Ismayilova  report on the subject Denelopment History of the paleogeoqraphical researches  in Azerbaijan.

It was noted that as the global ecological problems become strained the importance of palaeogeographical researehes becomes constantey increased in the territory of our country.

Reportes-Corresponding Member  of the ANAS R.Mammadov doctor of geography Kh. Tanryverdiyev, E.Alizade and others stressed that the results of corried out researehes mest be examined thoroughly and the study  of palaeogeographical conditions must be extended on the modern scientific theorebical bases.
