The Institute of Geography of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan held the next attestation of doctoral and dissertation candidates. The attestation was attended by 8 dissertation candidates pursuing a Doctor of Science degree, 29 doctoral candidates and 2 dissertation candidates pursuing a PhD degree.

During the attestation, doctoral and dissertation candidates presented reports on the scientific research they had conducted over the past year, the results they had achieved, and the scientific tasks set for the next stage.

The Attestation Commission listened to the reports of the doctoral and dissertation candidates and evaluated their scientific activities based on the relevant criteria.

Based on the results of the evaluation, two dissertation candidates pursuing a Doctor of Science degree were dismissed from the dissertation programme for failing to meet the attestation requirements, while one dissertation candidate pursuing a PhD degree was dismissed at their own request.
