Another scientific seminar was held at the Institute of Geography of the AR Ministry of Science and Education. The seminar was organized under the chairmanship of Doctor of Geographical Sciences Nariman Pashayev. At the event, Aslan Babakhanov, head of the “Data and Analytics Office” sector of the institute, delivered a scientific presentation on the topic: “GIS analysis of the channel dynamics of the Kura River in the Aghstafa district (Poylu village) for assessing the risk of river crossing of an oil pipeline.”

Participants exchanged views on the presented results, asking questions regarding the methodological aspects and application possibilities of the research. Scientists and doctoral students of the institute held extensive discussions on the topic and provided scientific recommendations regarding future research directions.
