A masterclass on the topic Geographical Problems of Sustainable Development was held at Baku State University (BSU), jointly organized by the Center for Organization of Scientific Activity and Innovations, and the Faculties of Geography and Geology.

At the event, Associate Professor Zaur Imrani, Doctor of Geographical Sciences and Acting Director of the Institute of Geography under the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, delivered a presentation.

The Dean of the Faculty of Geography, Professor Maqsad Qocamanov, emphasized the importance of studying the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which are widely implemented globally, from a geographical perspective.

In his speech, Zaur Imrani provided detailed information about the differing international scientific approaches to the sustainable development model in the modern era.
