A Memorandum Signed Between Belarusian State University and the Institute of Geography of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan 2026-02-04 15:32:00 / IMPORTANT EVENTS

    On February 4, 2026, a memorandum aimed at expanding cooperation in the field of scientific research was signed between Belarusian State University (Minsk, Republic of Belarus) and the Institute of Geography of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

      The memorandum was signed by Vice-Rector for Research of Belarusian State University, Doctor of Chemical Sciences, Professor Andrey Viktorovich Blokhin, and Acting Director of the Institute  of Geography, Doctor of Geographical Sciences, Associate Professor Zaur Imrani.

      In accordance with the memorandum, the parties will cooperate in key areas of scientific research, including the organization of advanced training programs for researchers, the preparation and implementation of joint scientific research projects, the organization and conduct of seminars, scientific conferences, and symposia, as well as the publication of scientific works, including monographs, scientific articles, and collected volumes.

     The document also предусматривает the implementation of other forms of mutual cooperation agreed upon by the parties during the execution of the agreement. This collaboration is expected to contribute significantly to enhancing the effectiveness of the scientific potential of both institutions, advancing cutting-edge research, and ensuring the sustainable development of international scientific cooperation in the long term.
