PhD in geography Rovshan Kerimov, the leading researcher at the H. Aliyev Institute of Geography of the AR MSE, represented the Institute as a mentor at the Youth Climate Forum, held at the Ritz Carlton Hotel as part of the Baku Climate Action Week.

Rovshan Kerimov organized a seminar on "Climate Change and Population Migration" as part of the "Climate Mobility" module for the event's participants, among whom were also citizens from Kenya, Bangladesh, India, Senegal, and Nigeria. He provided the young people with detailed information on climate change, natural disasters such as floods and droughts, and population migration caused by fluctuations in the Caspian Sea level. Rovshan Kerimov then divided the young people into groups and assigned them tasks on specific topics. In conclusion, the module participants gave presentations and shared their opinions.
