A memorandum on joint cooperation in the field of scientific research, technology and education was signed between the Institute of Geography named after acad. H. Aliyev of the MSEAR and the Vakhushti Bagrationi Institute of Geography of Georgia.

On the Azerbaijani side, the document was signed by the acting director general of the Institute of Geography, PhD, associate professor Zaur Imrani, on the Georgian side - by the director of the Vakhushti Bagrationi Institute of Geography of Georgia Nana Bolashvili.

 The purpose of signing the memorandum is to strengthen partnerships based on common interests, expand the areas and directions of cooperation, exchange experience to improve the quality and depth of scientific research, organize joint conferences, etc.
