The celebration of the 70th anniversary of the leading researcher of the Department of Hydrology and Water Resources Ziyafet Aghayev and the 65th anniversary of Rasul Ismayilov, the head of the HR department of the Institute of Geography, took place.

Congratulating the anniversary celebrants, Acting Director General of the Institute, Assoc. Prof. Zaur Imrani gave brief information about their activities at the Institute of Geography, presented the anniversary celebrants with a congratulatory letter and a bouquet of flowers on behalf of the management and staff of the Institute, wished them good health and success in their work.

Aghayev and R. Ismayilov made speeches and expressed gratitude to the management and staff of the Institute for the attention shown to them.

Heads of departments, Prof. Rza Mahmudov, Shamil Azizov, Chairman of the Trade Union Committee Kamran Ramazanli and Chief of Civil Defense Staff Namazali Mustafayev also congratulated the anniversary celebrants and wished them inexhaustible energy and success in the scientific and social activities of the Institute.
