Employees of the Institute of Geography named after Academician H. Aliyev of the MSEAR - deputy chairperson of the primary territorial organization of the New Azerbaijan Party (YAP) Mahbuba Fatullayeva and members of the New Azerbaijan Party (YAP) Sevda Naghiyeva, Zaur Gasimov and Rovshan Aliyev took part in the municipal elections held on January 29.

Employees of the institute observed the elections as observers at polling stations No. 17, 23, 25 and 35 in the 2nd electoral area of the Yasamal district.
