Emil Jabrayilov, researcher of the Institute of Geography named after Academician H.Aliyev of MSE AR, who was invited to participate in seminars and meetings of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) as a member of the working group of the Information Committee (CODATA) of the International Scientific Council (ISC), spent 10 days on a business trip to the People's Republic of China.
The interactive sessions organized in Beijing discussed the implementation, expansion and potential of the One Country, One Priority Product programme in developing countries “Geographical Indications Environment and Sustainability”.
The method and advantages of its application in regional agriculture are shown. At the events held, Emil Jabrayilov repeatedly spoke with the rationale for the use of geographic information in real time in the process of collecting, processing and producing agricultural plants, and gave interviews to media representatives on relevant topics.
The representatives visited China's Jilin, Shanxi and Hubei provinces, learned about the process of producing agricultural products using new methods, and took part in practical classes and training in the fields.
