According to the cooperation agreement concluded between the Institute of Geography named after academician H. Aliyev of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Baku State University, as every year, university students take practical training at the Institute of Geography.

55 graduates of the Faculty of Geography, who began their internship on February 21, will undergo practical training until May 24 in the relevant departments of the institute, and will also improve their knowledge acquired at the educational institution.

Students got acquainted with the departments and divisions of the institute, the scientific library, laboratories, the program of upcoming work, the structure of the institution, scientific directions and research work carried out at the institute, the scientific achievements of famous scientists, and geographical problems. They received valuable information from the head of the education department, associate professor Museib Yunusov and the scientific secretary, associate professor Zarnura Hamidova, and listened to their recommendations.

During the 3-month internship, students will listen to lectures by famous scientists and improve their geographical knowledge and skills.
