       The monograph entitled “Geoecological Assessment of the Territory of the Turkic World for Sustainable Development” (2025) by Stara Tarikhazer, Head of the “Geomorphology and Paleogeography” Laboratory at the Institute of Geography of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Doctor of Geographical Sciences, Associate Professor, has been published.

      The book provides readers with an understanding of the natural environment of the Turkic world and explains the causes and patterns of development of geographical processes and phenomena occurring within the territories of independent Turkic states and entities. The monograph presents information on relief, geological formation history, climatic characteristics, hydrogeological conditions, soils and vegetation cover, natural landscapes, as well as environmental protection.

     The monograph is intended for university students, secondary and higher school teachers, geographers, environmental specialists, and anyone interested in the geography of the Turkic world.
