The monograph, consisting of 12 chapters and 284 pages, contains information about the physical and economic geography of the Shusha region, toponymy, the potential for demographic development, ways of developing tourism, and analyzes the possibilities of their management.

The monograph studies the natural and geographical conditions of the Shusha region, which is a fertile corner of Azerbaijan after liberation, the potential of natural resources, and issues of their use. The socio-economic and demographic processes taking place in the region recently, construction and installation works, and the work done in the direction of tourism development were highlighted.
