In our contemporary epoch, the secrets of science and education are the provider of the use of nature, preservation of the ecosystem and biodiversity, as well as sustainable socio-economic development. This requires cooperation that touches the vital interests of the countries of the world and unites experts from different fields to solve existing problems.
Political, economic, social, and cultural heritage is among the factors that determine the unity of the peoples of the world. At this time, reconstruction of industry, agriculture, social infrastructure, tourism-recreation, transportation, and communication systems at a modern level, investigation of solutions to problems caused by population settlement, as well as assessment of natural resource potential, restoration of ecological balance, the safety of freshwater resources is of great importance. At this time, the integration of science and education helps to effectively use the potential of all fields. Exactly, in this regard, it is planned to organize the second international scientific-practical conference on the 22nd-23rd of November 2023 titled “Contemporary problems of geography: integration of the science and education” dedicated to the 100th anniversary of National Leader Heydar Aliyev to prepare the scientific basis of the implemented measures, strengthen their innovation, and attract the potential of natural-geographic conditions to the economy.


The main sections of the conference are as follows:
➢ The current state of landscape use
➢ Problems of assessment, use, and protection of climate and water resources
➢ Eco-geographic bases of sustainable development of Azerbaijan, protection of soil and vegetation cover
➢ Efficient use of lands and their ecological problems
➢ The viewpoint of young researchers on socio-economic problems in liberated territories
➢ Socio-economic development of regions, green energy potential, and prospective directions
➢ Regional characteristics of demographic development, prospects of urban and rural settlement
➢ Assessment of tourism and recreation potential in ensuring sustainable development
➢ Potential opportunities for the cultural-heritage tourism
➢ Problems of using the natural resource potential of the regions and their expedients
➢ Existing problems in the direction of integration of science and education
➢ Modern problems of teaching the development of regions in higher and secondary schools
